The <abbr>RRT<\/abbr> credential is a standard for professional achievement that measures a program&#8217;s success in inspiring its graduates to attain their highest educational aspirations.<\/p>\n<p>This is the fourth consecutive year that <span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> <abbr>CC<\/abbr>&#8217;s Respiratory Care Practitioner Program has received this award, which places <span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span>&#8217;s program in the top 10 percent of approximately 450 accredited programs nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>Kathy J. Rye, president of the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care, stated that in selecting programs for this recognition, the commission board used objective criteria based on key accreditation metrics documented in the <em>2014 Annual Report of Current Status<\/em>.
