Not only is that what many hope will happen when the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.westoahu.hawaii.edu\">University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>&#8212;West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span><\/a> opens the doors to its new campus in August 2012, but it&#8217;s also the title of West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span>&#8217;s first campus magazine.<\/p>\n<p>Launched this month to reach out to the community and encourage alumni to reconnect with the campus, <em>Go West!<\/em> features gorgeous photography and in-depth articles on West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span> programs and students.<\/p>\n<p>Articles in the January 2012 issue include<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Digging for the Truth&#8212;<abbr>UH<\/abbr> West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span> students and faculty uncover important lessons at the Honouliuli Internment and Prisoner of War Camp<\/li>\n<li>Tale of Two Dans&#8212;How <abbr>UH<\/abbr> West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span> connected Rufino &ldquo;Dan&rdquo; Magliba with <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>&#8217;s senior senator<\/li>\n<li>Give me Shelter&#8212;A degree opens doors for a young mother and her daughter on the verge of homelessness<\/li>\n<li>Field of Dreams&#8212;A sneak peek at <abbr>UH<\/abbr> West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span>&#8217;s exciting new campus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Published in partnership with PacificBasin Communications, the inaugural issue of the magazine was distributed through the January issues of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaiibusiness.com\">Hawaii Business<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.honolulumagazine.com\">HONOLULU<\/a> magazines.
