Lʻulu<\/span><\/a>, the annual Leeward Culinary Arts Gala, once again pairs Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>’s finest chefs with local farmers, ranchers and aquaculturists to provide patrons with dishes that are fresh, local and as diverse as our islands themselves.<\/p>\n

This culinary event on Saturday, May 9, 6–9 p.m. on the Leeward Community College<\/a> campus, is the annual fundraiser that provides scholarships and educational opportunities for Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>’s culinary students<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lʻulu<\/span> features 13 chefs, each featuring a locally grown or produced food item in their menu offering. Guests indulge their senses with the delectable cuisines of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>’s finest chefs who work alongside the Culinary Arts Program’s instructors and students.<\/p>\n

Relaxing entertainment and a silent auction, complemented by an array of wines, beers, spirits and specialty coffees and teas complete the festive atmosphere and extraordinary ambiance of dining amid the four-time ʻIlima<\/span> award-winning fine dining restaurant, The Pearl<\/a> and the Culinary Arts Program’s kitchen facilities.<\/p>\n
