Students of the University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M&#257;noa <a href=\"http:\/\/jabsom.hawaii.edu\/\">John A. Burns School of Medicine<\/a> opened their envelopes, a moment they have been working towards for years.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;In our whole consciousness for all of our schooling has been towards this moment and to really have this at the end of the day is really, really gratifying. We&#8217;re very blessed to be here,&rdquo; said <abbr>UH<\/abbr> medical school student <strong>Thomas Gill<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As the 66 graduates were finishing their final year, their medical school was ranked the 19th best in the nation in primary care by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usnews.com\/\">U.S. News &#38; World Report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I like the small intimate relationships with professors. It&#8217;s a nice small community, and I feel like I built a lot of really great relationships here,&rdquo; said <abbr>UH<\/abbr> medical school student <strong>Cori Hanagami<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The class of 2015 is the latest example of the John A. Burns School of Medicine fulfilling one of its core missions, educating <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>&#8217;s future healthcare providers and leaders.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I would definitely consider going back to Maui and practicing just because there is a need for specialties out on the neighbor islands,&rdquo; said <abbr>UH<\/abbr> medical school student <strong>Steven Gonsalves<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;These students are fantastic. These are some of the best people I&#8217;ve ever met. And they&#8217;re going to serve <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> for a very long time.
