The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span><\/a> continues to chart the course for 21st century campus sustainability through the 3rd Annual Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Sustainability in Higher Education Summit<\/a>. This year’s event will be held at UH<\/abbr> Mānoa’s<\/a> Campus Center Ballroom, February 26–28. <\/p>\n

Themed “Innovation and Action,” this year’s summit has a focus on collaboration, sharing and skill building for sustainability innovation and action in the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> 10 campus system, and at higher-education colleagues Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Pacific University<\/a>, Brigham Young University–Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span><\/a> and Chaminade University<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The three-day conference will focus on policy and planning, program sharing and student leadership. Student leaders of the statewide Student Sustainability Coalition of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> are hosting a student summit designed to empower and connect students in their efforts towards sustainable campuses. Saturday’s student summit is free to all interested students. Students also receive more than half-off registration fees on Thursday and Friday. Scholarships to the summit are also available and students are encouraged to apply. <\/p>\n
