The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> continues to monitor Tropical Storm Ana and is working closely with state and county officials to anticipate its possible impact on Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>. This is the October 16, 2:20 p.m. update with the latest storm information.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> West Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> (Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Island)<\/strong>
\nClasses and activities at the UH<\/abbr> Center, West Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span><\/a> on Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Island are canceled for Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18 and the center will be closed.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> East Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> (Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Island)<\/strong>
\nUH<\/abbr> Hilo<\/a>, Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Community College<\/a> and North Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Education Center<\/a> (NHERC) will remain open and classes will meet Friday, with the exception of the Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Community College Motorcycle Training class on Saturday, which is canceled.<\/p>\n

However, conditions are unpredictable and should they require other closures, we will inform you through a UH<\/abbr> alert.<\/p>\n

All Other Campuses<\/strong>
