She was the 2005&#8211;2006 International Indigenous Scholar at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maramatanga.co.nz\/\">Ng&#257; Pae o te M&#257;ramatanga<\/a>, the Center for M&#257;ori Research Excellence at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auckland.ac.nz\/en.html\">University of Auckland<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Maunakea-Forth is the co-founder of <span aria-label=\"MAO\">MA&#699;O<\/span> Organic Farms in <span aria-label=\"Waianae\">Wai&#699;anae<\/span> and is executive director of Kauhale <span aria-label=\"O Waianae\">&#699;O Wai&#699;anae<\/span>, a programmatic merger between <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seariderproductions.com\/\">Searider Productions<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.makahastudios.com\/\">M&#257;kaha Studios<\/a> and <span aria-label=\"MAO\">MA&#699;O<\/span> Organic Farms.
