The classes are conducted using an online format or a mix of online classes with hands-on fieldwork.<\/p>\n<p>The new certificate programs being offered include business certificates in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.hawaii.edu\/rh\/docs\/business-foundations.pdf\">business foundations<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.hawaii.edu\/rh\/docs\/business-essentials.pdf\">business essentials<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.hawaii.edu\/rh\/docs\/retail-foundations.pdf\">retail foundations<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.hawaii.edu\/rh\/docs\/entreneurship.pdf\">entrepreneurship<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.hawaii.edu\/rh\/docs\/virtual-office-asst.pdf\">virtual office assistant<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sustainable construction certificates are being offered in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.hawaii.edu\/rh\/docs\/sustainable-construct.pdf\">sustainable construction technologies<\/a> as well as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaii.hawaii.edu\/rh\/docs\/sustainable-lot-design.pdf\">sustainable lot design<\/a>, preparation and development.<\/p>\n<p>Students will also receive support services that include tutoring, academic counseling, internships and job development and transcript evaluation\/prior learning assesment (which allows adults to earn credit for work knowledge and experience).<\/p>\n<p><span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> <abbr>CC<\/abbr> will host open house events around the island to present the new certificate programs, answer questions and help with enrollment.<\/p>\n<h2>Open house schedule<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>W.M.
