Experience a fun night of fiction and fantasy while supporting the performing arts and Leeward.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>40th Anniversary Gala<\/strong><br \/>\nSeptember 27 at 7 p.m., Theatre Courtyard<\/p>\n<p>Celebrate Leeward&#8217;s 40th in style with food, drinks and entertainment. The theme of this year&#8217;s season opening gala is kalakoa, which means &ldquo;many colors&rdquo;&#8212;in celebration of the varied artists and productions that have crossed Leeward&#8217;s boards since 1974.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prince Dance<\/strong><br \/>\nOctober 4 at 8 p.m., Mainstage<\/p>\n<p>A contemporary dance theatre company energizes the Leeward stage. Formed to create new works of dance designed to enlighten, challenge and inspire its audiences, the company explores new realms of expression and perspective on personal, social and universal issues. Prince Dance strives to push boundaries and ignite new thoughts through its performances, classes and collaborative projects.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>PlayBuilders <em>Xenophobia<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nOctober 16, 17, 18 at 8 p.m., Lab Theatre<\/p>\n<p>The PlayBuilders&#8217; Ensemble premier their new work.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Clockwork<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nNovember 7, 8, 14, 15 at 7 p.m., November 9, 16 matinee at 4 p.m., Mainstage<\/p>\n<p>A fun-filled comedy for the whole family, involving mixed up fairy tales, magic and even a dragon!
