Please <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctahr.hawaii.edu\/site\/locationdetails.aspx?id=ER-HKOMO\">contact them directly<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<h2>More ways to help<\/h2>\n<p>People living outside of the area may want to consider monetary donations to an established relief organization instead.<\/p>\n<p>Cash donations are the best way to immediately help recovery efforts on the Big Island and other areas impacted by Iselle, according to a State of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scd.hawaii.gov\/documents\/20140812_Iselle_NR_Aid.pdf\">Emergency Management Agency press release<\/a> <span class=\"small\">(PDF)<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Emergency Management Agency suggests cash donations be directed to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redcross.org\/hi\/honolulu\">American Red Cross <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Chapter)<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/hivoad.communityos.org\/cms\/contact_hi\">Hawaii State Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters Hurricane Iselle Long-Term Relief and Recovery Fund<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>People looking to volunteer are encouraged to directly contact local relief agencies to identify needs of individuals and communities impacted by Iselle.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8212;By Jeela
