Two candidates for the position of director of the Office of Technology Transfer and Economic Development<\/a> (OTTED<\/abbr>), have been invited to the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> to make public presentations to interested students, faculty, staff, community members and the general public. The topic for the presentations will be, “The Future of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at a Public University.”<\/p>\n

“This leadership position is critical to UH<\/abbr>’s entrepreneurial and commercialization efforts,” said Vance Roley<\/strong>, dean of the Shidler College of Business<\/a> at UH<\/abbr> Mānoa and chair of the OTTED<\/abbr> director search.<\/p>\n

“The next director of OTTED<\/abbr> will be leading a department that will be an integral component to the success of the Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Innovation Initiative<\/a>,” added UH<\/abbr> Vice President for Research and Innovation Vassilis L. Syrmos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
