For the fourth year in a row, Honolulu Community College<\/a> was selected as the Best Vocational School<\/a> in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser<\/em> Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>’s Best People’s Choice Awards<\/a> released on Sunday, June 22.<\/p>\n

“Honolulu Community College is extremely grateful for this distinction. It is with great pride and responsibility that we continue to provide the highest level of quality instruction through our diverse liberal arts and career and technical programs,” says Erika L. Lacro<\/strong>, chancellor of Honolulu Community College.<\/p>\n

Honolulu Star-Advertiser<\/em><\/a> readers were asked to write in their favorite in 144 categories. Multiple choice options were not provided. Each ballot required 25 categories filled to be deemed valid. Votes were calculated electronically to determine winners—no duplications were allowed, one vote per person, which were also tracked electronically.<\/p>\n
