Kay Fujimoto Ono<\/strong>, professor of business technology<\/a> at Leeward Community College<\/a> and president of the Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Business Education Association <\/a>(HBEA<\/abbr>), was nominated president-elect for the Western Business Education Association<\/a> (WBEA<\/abbr>). Ono will be president when the WBEA<\/abbr> Conference is hosted by HBEA<\/abbr> at the Waikīkī Beach Marriott Resort and Spa<\/a> in February 2016.<\/p>\n

At the WBEA<\/abbr> February conference, Kauaʻi<\/span> Community College<\/a> Business Education Instructor Cheryl Fujii<\/strong> was honored with an award for excellence in publications. The award recognized her work as the HBEA<\/abbr> newsletter editor on the hbea.org<\/em> quarterly publication. This is the second year that Fujii received this award.<\/p>\n
