The campus is recognized as an accredited arboretum&#8212;one of only 823 worldwide&#8212;and one of just ten in <span lang=\"haw\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span>, along with <abbr>UH<\/abbr>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/lyon\/\">Lyon Arboretum<\/a>. The landscape features a wide range of flora native to <span lang=\"haw\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> as well as plants from across the Pacific, creating an environment that reflects the university\u2019s unique setting.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This recognition reflects what our students, faculty and community experience every day at <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa: a campus where natural beauty, culture and academic excellence come together in a unique way,&rdquo; said Vassilis L.
