The University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa women’s water polo team<\/a> earned its third consecutive Big West Championship title with a victory over Long Beach State in the tournament final, April 12.<\/p>\n

Seven Rainbow Wahine players contributed to the scoring, and goalkeeper Daisy Logtens made nine saves to lead top-seeded UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa to a 14\u20139 win. Agatha Weston was named Big West Championship Most Valuable Player after scoring four goals for the \u2018Bows.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Wahine secured their seventh conference tournament crown and claimed the Big West\u2019s automatic berth to the National Collegiate Women\u2019s Water Polo Championship set for April 24–26 in La Jolla, California.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa\u2019s run of three consecutive appearances in the NCAA<\/abbr> tournament will be the longest in program history.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Bows will face fourth-seeded UC<\/abbr> Berkeley<\/a> in a first-round match on April 24. The NCAA<\/abbr> Tournament matches will be streamed on ncaa.com<\/a> until the national championship match on April 26, which will be televised on ESPNU<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n
