The Rainbow Warriors will now seek a replacement opponent for the August 28, 2027 season opener that was originally scheduled against <abbr>U<\/abbr>Mass.<\/p>\n<p>Sacramento State will be entering its first season as an Football Bowl Subdivision (<abbr>FBS<\/abbr>) program in 2026 as a member of the Mid-American Conference.<\/p>\n<p>Other nonconference matchups on <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr>\u2019s 2026 schedule include road games at Stanford (August 29) and Arizona State (October 10), along with a home game against New Mexico State (September 12).
