The Mountain West Conference announced on February 3 a new media rights package featuring CBS<\/abbr> Sports, FOX Sports, The CW<\/abbr> Network and Kiswe. The agreements with CBS<\/abbr> Sports, FOX Sports and Kiswe run for six years (2026–27 through 2031–32), while the CW<\/abbr> Network has committed to a five-year partnership through the 2030–31 season.<\/p>\n

The contracts with multiple networks and services provide extensive visibility and coverage across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms for Mountain West football and men\u2019s and women\u2019s basketball, while all other conference-sponsored sports are available through the Mountain West\u2019s direct-to-consumer streaming platform.<\/p>\n

“Today’s conference media rights announcement starts an exciting new chapter for University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Athletics<\/a> and the Mountain West,” Athletics Director Matt Elliott said. “The package ensures broad conference exposure with national TV<\/abbr> partners Fox, CBS<\/abbr> and The CW<\/abbr>, while also vastly increasing the overall availability of UH<\/abbr> competitions through the Mountain West’s direct-to-consumer platform. With the national media rights finalized, securing a local media partner is the next major priority for UH<\/abbr>. We have initiated the first phase of this process by soliciting inquiries from interested parties. We are committed to finding a partner who recognizes the value of the UH<\/abbr> brand and celebrates our unique identity while further amplifying our student-athletes’ successes. We will establish a partnership that drives revenue and delivers a high-quality experience for our local viewers, the broadcaster and the University.”<\/p>\n

The longstanding partnership between CBS<\/abbr> Sports and the Mountain West spans more than 20 years, and the network will continue to carry the top game selections for both football and men’s and women’s basketball. FOX Sports extends its current six-year agreement with the Mountain West, showcasing elite college football and college basketball games, including the Mountain West football championship game. The conference also welcomes The CW<\/abbr> Network as a national broadcast partner. Together, these networks will provide comprehensive coverage across CBS<\/abbr>, CBS<\/abbr> Sports Network, Paramount+, FOX, FS1<\/abbr>, FS2<\/abbr>, FOX One and The CW<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n

“The partnerships with CBS<\/abbr> Sports, FOX Sports, The CW<\/abbr> Network, and Kiswe represent the broadest media distribution plan in the Conference’s history, delivering unprecedented national linear visibility coupled with a creative and comprehensive digital presence,” said Mountain West Commissioner Gloria Nevarez. “Aligning with three nationally recognized broadcast media partners and marquee streaming platforms powered by Kiswe’s expertise ensures that our student\u2011athletes showcase their athletic excellence, academic achievements, personal stories, and the pride they bring to their universities.”<\/p>\n

The Mountain West will also launch an enhanced direct-to-consumer streaming service in July 2026, developed in partnership with Kiswe. The new platform will complement the conference’s linear television agreements and will be the exclusive streaming platform for all athletics content across all 21 conference-sponsored sports that are not distributed on national linear television.<\/p>\n
