To qualify in the world\u2019s top 1&#37;, rankings must be within the top 250 in the world (<a href=\"https:\/\/research.com\/universities-colleges\/university-statistics\">among more than 25,000 colleges and universities worldwide<\/a>) <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> M&#257;noa was ranked in all 11 of the 2026 <em>Times Higher Education<\/em> World University Rankings by Subject lists.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are proud that <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M&#257;noa continues to be recognized globally, reflecting our commitment to academic excellence, research and the student experience,&rdquo; <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M&#257;noa Interim Provost Vassilis L.
