(Courtesy photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Tamelia Rang, who graduated in December 2024, serves as human rights coordinator at the Ministry of Culture and Internal Affairs, <abbr>RMI<\/abbr>. (Courtesy photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> Hilo <a href=\"https:\/\/hilo.hawaii.edu\/depts\/politicalsci\/\">political science<\/a> professor Su-Mi Lee, the timing was striking.
