Whether fans are cheering in the stands, watching from home, or donating directly&#8212;it truly makes a difference.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The department introduced two tax-deductible direct-giving opportunities. The <a href=\"https:\/\/give.uhfoundation.org\/campaigns\/67748\/donations\/new?designation_id=12351404&#038;\">Our Team, <span lang=\"haw\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>\u2019s Team Fund<\/a> will support essential operations such as travel, nutrition and student-athlete health, while the <a href=\"https:\/\/give.uhfoundation.org\/campaigns\/70105\/donations\/new?designation_id=13079304&#038;\">Boost the &#8216;Bows Fund<\/a> (Institutional <abbr>NIL<\/abbr>) will aid recruitment, retention and scholarship support for athletes. Donors can choose to contribute at the department level or designate gifts to specific teams.<\/p>\n<p>Two additional avenues focus on engagement. <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/sports\/2025\/11\/26\/bows-nil.aspx\">Non-institutional <abbr>NIL<\/abbr><\/a> partnerships will allow local businesses and individuals to work directly with student-athletes through <a href=\"https:\/\/app.inflcr.com\/exchange\/university-of-hawaii\"><abbr>INFLCR<\/abbr><\/a>, expanding opportunities across sports. A new comprehensive <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/sports\/2025\/11\/14\/university-of-hawai-i-athletics-events-calendar.aspx\">events calendar<\/a> for 2025&#8211;26 will also connect the community with fundraising and outreach events throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;<abbr>NIL<\/abbr> has been an incredible opportunity for me to connect with the <span lang=\"haw\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> community,&rdquo; said Rainbow Warrior football quarterback Micah Alejado. &ldquo;Working with local businesses has taught me so much about leadership and representing <span lang=\"haw\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> in a positive way.
