The new system will offer students a more modern, mobile-friendly experience.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a class=\"local-scroll-link\" href=\"#faqs\">New student information dashboard <abbr>FAQ<\/abbr>s<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[vc_column][vc_video link=&#8221;https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/shorts\/0ZJiZ3JL6f8&#8243; el_aspect=&#8221;916&#8243; align=&#8221;right&#8221; el_id=&#8221;wrap-video-right&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<h2>Transition timeline<\/h2>\n<p>My<abbr>UH<\/abbr> and STAR <abbr>GPS<\/abbr> will go offline at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, as <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> begins the upgrade. STAR <abbr>GPS<\/abbr> will be view-only during this time. The new dashboard is scheduled to launch on January 3, 2026.<\/p>\n<h2>Tuition and registration details<\/h2>\n<p>When registration opens on Monday, November 10 (November 17 for <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa), students will continue to use STAR <abbr>GPS<\/abbr>; however, tuition and fee balances for spring 2026 will not be displayed during this period.<\/p>\n<p>Balances will reappear when the new system goes live on January 3, 2026, along with updated payment plan options related to the temporary grace period for registration holds announced on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2025\/11\/04\/temporary-grace-period-student-registration-holds\/\">November 4<\/a>. Students can estimate their tuition costs by visiting this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/tuition\/\">website<\/a>.
