All donations after will go toward the Miho Family Scholarship, which can be awarded to anyone within <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa student media, which includes Ka Leo, <abbr>UH<\/abbr> Productions, M\u0101noa Now, the <span lang=\"haw\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Review and the Student Media Board.<\/p>\n<p>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/give.uhfoundation.org\/ktuh-back-to-the-beginning\"><abbr>UH<\/abbr> Foundation website<\/a> to make a donation.<\/p>\n<h2>&ldquo;Back to the Beginning&rdquo;<\/h2>\n<p>This year\u2019s theme highlights <abbr>KTUH<\/abbr>&#8216;s origins in 1969, when three <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa engineering students discovered an abandoned <abbr>FM<\/abbr> studio in <span lang=\"haw\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Hall and decided to bring it back to life. Using old equipment and their own ingenuity, the trio began broadcasting to campus dorms through the building\u2019s electrical system before finally securing an <abbr>FM<\/abbr> license.
