With its third straight win, <span lang=\"haw\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> improved to 6-2 overall (3-1 in the Mountain West Conference) and gained bowl eligibility for the first time under Head Coach Timmy Chang.<\/p>\n<p>The Rainbow Warriors racked up 435 yards of offense while the defense held the Rams to just 261 yards, and six sacks.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_223926\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-223926\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Matsuzawa_Elam.jpg\" alt=\"Matsuzawa, Elam\" width=\"200\" height=\"253\" class=\"size-full wp-image-223926\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Matsuzawa_Elam.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Matsuzawa_Elam-103x130.jpg 103w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-223926\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kansei Matsuzawa meets up with <abbr>UH<\/abbr> great Jason Elam after breaking the consecutive field goal record for <span lang=\"haw\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Micah Alejado threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns with sophomore Jackson Harris hauling in five catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p><abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> extended its lead to 24-7 when Kansei Matsuzawa, the &ldquo;Tokyo Toe,&rdquo; nailed a 26-yard field goal late in the third quarter. In the process, the Japan-native set a new <abbr>UH<\/abbr> record with 21 straight field goals made dating back to last season, surpassing <abbr>UH<\/abbr> great Jason Elam who made 20 straight in 1989.
