In partnership with Spectrum Sports and the Mountain West, the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa athletics department has announced three upcoming Rainbow Warrior football<\/a> games will be live streamed in Japan.<\/p>\n

The October 18 game at Colorado State, November 8 game against San Diego State and November 29 game versus Wyoming will be livestreamed on Rakuten’s R Channel\u2014a free streaming service in Japan\u2014as well as on GAORA On Demand and GAORA ZERO on R Channel.<\/p>\n

Four past UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa games from this season\u2014Sam Houston, Portland State, Fresno State and Utah State\u2014are also available on GAORA On Demand and GAORA ZERO on R Channel.<\/p>\n

Placekicker Kansei Matsuzawa from Tokyo, Japan is having a record-breaking senior season. He is 19-for-19 on the year in field goal attempts and has already broken both UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa and Mountain West records for consecutive field goals to start a season.<\/p>\n

Dating back to last season, Matsuzawa has converted 20 straight field goals, which is tied for the longest in school history. He is also on the verge of breaking the program’s all-time mark for most field goals in a single-season. His performance is fueling All-America and Lou Groza Award (college football\u2019s annual award for the nation\u2019s top placekicker) buzz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Matsuzawa’s journey to UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa is one of the best stories in college football. He learned to kick from watching YouTube videos and learned to speak English from his junior college teammates at Hocking College in Ohio. At the end of last season, he received a scholarship and has since earned the nickname “Tokyo Toe.”<\/p>\n
