The beer was originally created through a partnership among the three organizations to spark public interest in native plant protection. A portion of proceeds from beer sales, as well as contributions from Shaka Mobile Bar and Local Boiz Mixed Tea, supported ongoing conservation and education work at Lyon Arboretum and <abbr>PEPP<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the day, Lyon Arboretum staff shared educational materials, photographs and displays highlighting the islands\u2019 threatened flora.
