The college also invites presenters to submit proposals, and local makers and artisans to join the vendor showcase.<\/p>\n<p>E Welo Mau ke Ea <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> (may the life, the breath, the sovereignty of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> rise and endure), will celebrate Indigenous education, <span aria-label=\"ike\">&#699;ike<\/span> <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> (Hawaiian knowledge), and aloha <span aria-label=\"aina\">&#699;&#257;ina<\/span> (love for the land).<\/p>\n<h2>Uplifting Hawaiian knowledge<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/honolulu-aha-kukalahale-1-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"people in garden\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-218605\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/honolulu-aha-kukalahale-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/honolulu-aha-kukalahale-1-130x73.jpg 130w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/honolulu-aha-kukalahale-1.jpg 676w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The event will feature talk story sessions, cultural workshops, panel discussions and a vendor showcase with cultural practitioners, educators, artists and community leaders engaged in language revitalization, healing, traditional arts, farming and ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;<span aria-label=\"Aha\">&#699;Aha<\/span> K&#363;kalahale is a space for all of us to gather in pilina (connection), in learning and in ea (life, breath, voice, sovereignty),&rdquo; said E.
