The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa has been named one of America\u2019s most beautiful college campuses by Travel + Leisure Magazine<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"Students<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa is among the magazine\u2019s list of the 30 most stunning campuses across the U.S<\/a> released in June 2025 that, according to Travel + Leisure<\/em>, “captivate not only students and faculty but also travelers who appreciate scenic architecture, lush green spaces, and unique landmarks.”<\/p>\n

The flagship campus of the state\u2019s 10 campus public higher education system spans 320 acres and features more than 4,000 trees and 500 plant species.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa is one of only 823 accredited arboreta worldwide, and one of just two in Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> along with UH<\/abbr>\u2019s Lyon Arboretum<\/a>, recognized by ArbNet<\/a> and the Morton Arboretum for its landscape and botanical diversity.<\/p>\n

The campus is also a 16-time Tree Campus USA<\/abbr>, awarded by Arbor Day Foundation<\/a> for its commitment to effective urban forest management and for engaging staff and students in conservation goals.<\/p>\n

Not just a beautiful campus<\/h2>\n

UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa is also consistently ranked among the best universities in the world.<\/p>\n

A few weeks after the Travel + Leisure Magazine<\/em> list was released, QS World University Rankings<\/a> ranked the campus No. 77 among U.S. institutions (out of more than 2,600 4-year institutions<\/a>) and No. 546 globally (out of more than 25,000 worldwide colleges and universities<\/a>), placing it in the top 2.2% worldwide and the top 3% nationally.<\/p>\n

QS was just the latest higher education ranking service that recognized UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa\u2019s academic excellence in 2025. Others include the 2025 Global 2000 list by the Center for World University Rankings<\/a> released June 2, the 2025 Carnegie Classifications<\/a> that came out on April 24 and the 2025 U.S. News and World Report\u2019s<\/em> Best Graduate Schools rankings<\/a> issued on April 8.<\/p>\n
