Born and raised on <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span>, Yap has spent 16 years building a successful career. She progressed from an apprentice to a licensed educator, business owner and mentor.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I\u2019m now ready to share the wisdom I\u2019ve gained with the next generation,&rdquo; said Yap. &ldquo;I saw a need in our community&#8212; a desire for affordable, hands-on beauty education rooted in real opportunity. With the support of <abbr>UH<\/abbr> Maui College, we\u2019ve created a program that is more than just training.
