University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Mānoa women\u2019s water polo<\/a> senior Bernadette Doyle was among 20 student-athletes named to the Cutino Award Watch List in an announcement from USA<\/abbr> Water Polo, The Olympic Club and the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches.<\/p>\n

Doyle, an attacker, enters the week second on the team with 55 total points with 34 goals and 21 assists. She also leads the third-ranked Rainbow Wahine with 29 steals and nine field blocks.<\/p>\n

Doyle has scored at least three goals in eight matches this season, with a high of five in a win over UC<\/abbr> Santa Barbara. Her strong performances helped elevate the team to No.<\/abbr> 3 in the national rankings. She was named Big West Player of the Week after scoring a hat trick and the golden goal in an overtime win against No.<\/abbr> 6 Long Beach State.<\/p>\n

The Peter J. Cutino Award, named in honor of the late Hall of Fame coach, recognizes the best player in men’s and women’s college water polo.<\/p>\n
