Twenty two academic subjects at the University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa earned high marks in the 2025 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS<\/abbr>) World University Rankings by Subject<\/a>, released on March 12.<\/p>\n

Leading the way was linguistics, which earned a No<\/abbr>. 11 ranking in the U.S. and No<\/abbr>. 40 ranking in the world. Library and information management (No<\/abbr>. 17 U.S., No<\/abbr>. 51–100 world) and Earth and marine sciences (No<\/abbr>. 20 U.S., No<\/abbr>. 51–100 world) also placed within the top 100 in the world.<\/p>\n
