In 2024, more than 400 students participated in the Tech Days of Spring, and about 600 students participated in the Tech Days of Fall.<\/p>\n<p>Co-sponsored by the University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> and the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, in partnership with 15 local organizations, this biannual series aims to address the growing demand for skilled tech professionals in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" careers,&rdquo; said Garret Yoshimi, <abbr>UH<\/abbr> vice president for information technology and chief information officer. &ldquo;Through <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Tech Day events, we foster industry-academia partnerships, equipping students with the skills needed to succeed in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii's\">Â鶹´«Ã½&#8217;s<\/span> thriving tech sector.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are thrilled to collaborate with <abbr>UH<\/abbr> and our partners to equip the next generation with essential tech and cybersecurity skills,&rdquo; said Sherry Menor-McNamara, president and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii. &ldquo;This collective effort is vital for our state&#8217;s economic prosperity and innovation.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Highlights for Tech Days of Spring 2025:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><abbr>IT<\/abbr> Community Advisory Board Launch (March 12 &#64; Japanese Cultural Center):<br \/>\nThe <a href=\"https:\/\/ciocouncilofhawaii.org\/\"><abbr>CIO<\/abbr> Council of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span><\/a>, representing <abbr>IT<\/abbr> leaders statewide, will advise post-secondary educators on <abbr>IT<\/abbr> curriculum, ensuring <abbr>UH<\/abbr> graduates meet the evolving needs of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii's\">Â鶹´«Ã½&#8217;s<\/span> tech industry.<\/li>\n<li>Resume Review Day (March 27 &#64; <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa):<br \/>\nStudents can receive expert resume guidance from industry professionals, learning how to tailor their resumes for tech job
