Felipe, who graduated in spring 2024 with a bachelor of business administration in accounting and finance, now works as an assurance staff member in <abbr>EY<\/abbr>&#8216;s Financial Services Office. According to 2022&#8212;24 college data, 91&#37; of recent alumni with a bachelor\u2019s of business administration degree secured employment within three months of graduating, with 89&#37; placed in their desired industries&#8212;out of 1,681 bachelor of business administration graduates from the same time frame. Over the past five years, the college has seen significant enrollment growth across multiple programs. Exploratory business enrollment surged by 75&#37;, while information technology management saw a 40% increase. The accounting and travel industry management programs grew by 20&#37; and 10&#37;, respectively. This comes as <a href=\"https:\/\/public.tableau.com\/app\/profile\/researchcenter\/viz\/Fall2024SISpecialAnalysisDashboard\/SIF24SpecialAnalysis\">data from the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center<\/a> shows that enrollment by college freshmen has dropped by 5&#37; nationwide in fall 2024.<\/p>\n<h2>College resources key to success<\/h2>\n<p>Eleanor Hastings, who graduated in fall 2024 with a degree from the <a href=\"https:\/\/shidler.hawaii.edu\/tim\">School of Travel Industry Management<\/a> (<abbr>TIM<\/abbr>) in the Shidler College of Business exemplifies how the college\u2019s resources can shape career trajectories. Now working as an event marketing coordinator at Lumen Technologies, Hastings secured both her internships&#8212;including the one that led to her current position&#8212;through Shidler\u2019s career resources. Though currently between positions, Nguyen has already secured a spot in a management in training program starting in June.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;<abbr>UH<\/abbr>, to me, means opportunity.
