University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Hilo women\u2019s soccer<\/a> players Alyssa Padron and Teani Arakawa earned spots on the United Soccer Coaches Division II<\/abbr> All-West Region First Team and the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-West Region First Team.<\/p>\n

Of the Vulcans\u2019 eight All-PacWest Team selections, Arakawa and Padron were the only two named to the First Team. Padron finished No.<\/abbr> 11 in the West Region with 21 points, while Arakawa finished as the region\u2019s leader.<\/p>\n

Arakawa achieved her third career selection to the All-West Region Team, and her second consecutive year being named to the First Team. Arakawa was also previously selected as both back-to-back D2 Conference Commissioners Association All-West Region Player of the Year and Pacific West Conference Player of the Year.<\/p>\n

Both athletes demonstrated excellence in the classroom and on the field, exceeding the minimum 3.40 GPA<\/abbr> requirement for the Scholar All-Region Teams.<\/p>\n
