University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Hilo senior men\u2019s basketball<\/a> athlete Nadjrick Peat was selected as Pacific West Conference Defender of the Week after the team split its Oʻahu<\/span> road trip to open conference play.<\/p>\n

Over two games, Peat collected eight blocks, 20 rebounds and 24 points in a loss to HPU<\/abbr> and victory over Chaminade. Peat tied the program’s single-game block record with six blocks against Chaminade, matching his November 1 outing and a 2015 performance.<\/p>\n

Peat is ranked No.<\/abbr> 3 in Division II.<\/abbr> for averaging 3.00 blocks per game, No.<\/abbr> 5 for 27 total blocks, No.<\/abbr> 12 for 85 total rebounds, and No.<\/abbr> 19 for 9.4 rebounds per game. He also grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds against Chaminade for his ninth career double-double.<\/p>\n

This marks his fourth PacWest weekly honor after being awarded three times in 2022–23 before ultimately being named Defender of the Year.<\/p>\n
