On December 5, Moore will headline <a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/speakers\/carissa-moore\/\">&ldquo;The Power of Outdoor Places,&rdquo;<\/a> a free public event hosted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/speakers\/\"><abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> Better Tomorrow Speaker Series<\/a> in partnership with the Trust for Public Land (<abbr>TPL<\/abbr>).<\/p>\n<p>The event, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Kennedy Theatre, will feature an on-stage conversation between Moore, <abbr>TPL<\/abbr>\u2019s Parks Initiative leader, Bianca Clarke, and moderator M\u0101healani Richardson, anchorwoman at <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> News Now.
