Alexander was named the Big West Offensive Player of the Week for the fifth time this season while Lang earned her third Setter of the Week award of the season and the 14th of her career.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander and Lang reached career landmarks while helping the Rainbow Wahine pick up conference victories at <abbr>CSU<\/abbr> Bakersfield (<abbr>CSUB<\/abbr>) on October 22 and against <abbr>CSUN<\/abbr> at home on October 27.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander put away 56 kills, averaging 6.22 per set, while posting a .331 hitting percentage in <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr>&#8216;s two victories. Alexander led the Rainbow Wahine with 28 kills in 51 attempts to hit .431 and served up three aces in a four-set win at <abbr>CSUB<\/abbr>. She also became the 22nd member of <abbr>UH<\/abbr>&#8216;s 1,000-kill club in the win. She then repeated her 28 kill effort on 70 swings in a five-set victory over <abbr>CSUN<\/abbr>. She posted double-doubles in both matches with 14 digs at <abbr>CSUB<\/abbr> and 15 digs against <abbr>CSUN<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n<p>Alexander has finished with 20-plus kills in 11 matches this season. She leads the Big West and ranks third in the nation with 5.23 kills per set and 5.76 points per set. Her 418 total kills ranks second among <abbr>NCAA<\/abbr> Division <abbr title=\"Roman numeral one\">I<\/abbr> players.<\/p>\n<p>Lang dished out 96 assists while also posting double-doubles in both of <abbr>UH<\/abbr>&#8216;s wins. The senior had 52 assists and 12 digs at <abbr>CSUB<\/abbr> while operating a <abbr>UH<\/abbr> attack that hit a collective .317. She had 44 assists and 17 digs against <abbr>CSUN<\/abbr>. She averaged 10.67 assists and 3.22 digs per set for the week. In the win at <abbr>CSUB<\/abbr>, she became the fifth <abbr>UH<\/abbr> setter to surpass 4,000 career assists. She&#8217;s 13th among active players with 4,084 career assists.<\/p>\n<p>Lang leads the conference with 11.05 assists per set while running an attack hitting a league-high .266.
