All events are free and open to all high school students.<\/p>\n<p>Virtual Scholarship Workshops are scheduled for November 7 and November 21 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. They will feature panelists from the University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> System, <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Community Foundation and Sallie Mae, who will discuss how <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> students, regardless of their family income, can access funds to pay for college, in addition to scholarship application and essay writing tips.<\/p>\n<p>The Native Hawaiian Scholarship <span aria-label=\"Aha\">&#699;Aha<\/span> Series begins November 15, at <span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> Community College, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Additional in-person dates are scheduled in November and December at sites across <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span>, as well as <span aria-label=\"Kauai\">Kaua&#699;i<\/span>, <span aria-label=\"Molokai\">Moloka&#699;i<\/span>, <span aria-label=\"Lanai\">L\u0101na&#699;i<\/span>, Maui, and <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Island. Representatives from various Native Hawaiian scholarship organizations will be present at each event, and attendees will have the chance to win a $500 scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning January 15, 2025, <abbr title=\"Free application for federal student aid\">FAFSA<\/abbr> completion webinars are scheduled on Wednesdays through March 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Attendees will hear from local financial aid and <abbr>FAFSA<\/abbr> specialists to prepare to complete the form and to answer any questions.<\/p>\n<p>For questions about events, college planning or the <abbr>FAFSA<\/abbr>, email <a href=\"mailto:FAFSA@hawaii.edu\">FAFSA@hawaii.edu<\/a> or contact the <abbr>FAFSA<\/abbr> <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Hotline at (808) 842-2540 year-round.
