The Hilo native presented a vibrant lilikoi tart crafted from passion fruit grown by the college&#8217;s agriculture students.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I decided to make a dessert with lilikoi because I really wanted to highlight the unique farm-to-table partnership between <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Community College\u2019s agriculture and culinary Programs,&rdquo; said Sumiki, a 22-year veteran of the event.<\/p>\n<p>The Japanese Chamber of Commerce &#038; Industry has donated more than $200,000 to <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> <abbr>CC<\/abbr> over the years. &ldquo;A Taste of Hilo&rdquo;
