The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Mānoa Athletics Department and CLC<\/abbr>, the nation\u2019s leading collegiate trademark licensing agency, have entered into an agreement for trademark licensing services that will usher in a new, strategic approach to managing and promoting the 10-campus UH<\/abbr> System and Rainbow Warriors brands for officially licensed merchandise.<\/p>\n

The new partnership will give UH<\/abbr> access to CLC<\/abbr>\u2019s marketing and product development expertise, and industry relationships to gain insight into consumer trends to better identify opportunities and strategies to elevate the UH<\/abbr> brand in the marketplace.<\/p>\n

“We are excited to leverage CLC<\/abbr>‘s customized approach to growing our licensing program and connecting with our passionate fans through unique products and brand storytelling,” said Craig Angelos, director of athletics at UH<\/abbr> Mānoa.<\/p>\n

Officially licensed UH<\/abbr>-branded merchandise is currently produced by 113 licensees.<\/p>\n

“We are honored to be able to work collaboratively with Craig Angelos and his team at Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> to develop new merchandise and marketing initiatives that promote and respect the unique aspects of the university’s culture and heritage while maximizing opportunities for growing demand and retail distribution,” said John Greeley, senior vice president of partnerships at CLC<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n

CLC<\/abbr> is a division of Learfield, a media and technology company involved with college athletics. Learfield represents UH<\/abbr> Athletics through some of its other media and marketing platforms.<\/p>\n
