The 2024 event was also a special commemoration gala in recognition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2024\/03\/03\/shidler-college-75th-anniversary\/\">Shidler College\u2019s 75th anniversary<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The event celebrated distinguished business professionals who exemplify excellence in their fields while raising critical funds to support the college. The 2024 gala brought in over 400 guests to celebrate the 2024 distinguished alumni cohort, and raised more than $340,000 thanks to the generosity of local businesses and the community.<\/p>\n<p>The five newest inductees into the Hall of Honor:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Jay Ana<\/strong>, <abbr title=\"Bachelor of Business Administration\">BBA<\/abbr> \u201998, president, Young Brothers, <abbr title=\"Limited Liability Company\">LLC<\/abbr><\/li>\n<li><strong>Chu Thi Thanh Ha<\/strong>, <abbr title=\"Vietnam Executive Master of Business Administration\">VEMBA<\/abbr> \u201906, chairwoman of the Board of Directors, <abbr>FPT<\/abbr> Software <abbr title=\"Limited\">Ltd<\/abbr><\/li>\n<li><strong>AJ Halagao<\/strong>, <abbr title=\"Master of Business Administration\">MBA<\/abbr> \u201904, president, <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Leadership Forum<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lauren Nahme<\/strong>, <abbr>BBA<\/abbr> \u201990, senior vice president, Maui Recovery Effort, <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Community Foundation<\/li>\n<li><strong>Roy Pfund<\/strong>, <abbr>BBA<\/abbr> \u201980, <abbr>MBA<\/abbr> \u201987, president and <abbr title=\"Chief Executive Officer\">CEO<\/abbr>, Roberts <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&ldquo;It is an honor to recognize this year\u2019s Hall of Honor inductees, whose achievements exemplify the spirit of excellence that Shidler College has fostered for 75 years,&rdquo; said Shidler College Dean Vance Roley. &ldquo;These distinguished alumni have not only excelled in their respective fields but have also contributed significantly to their communities and demonstrated steadfast support for our college. Their success reflects the strength of our alumni network and the impact of a Shidler education.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Roley added, &ldquo;As we celebrate this milestone year, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, partners, and everyone who has contributed to making tonight\u2019s event a success. Together, we continue to pave the way for the next generation of leaders, ensuring Shidler College\u2019s legacy of innovation and excellence endures for years to come.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The Hall of Honor Awards is the largest fundraiser held in partnership with the Shidler College of Business Alumni Association. The funds raised from this event support the Shidler College of Business Advancement Fund, furthering its mission to bolster student programs, scholarships, faculty research, alumni outreach and special programs.<\/p>\n<p>Shidler alumna and 2014 Hall of Honor recipient Gina Mangieri emceed the event.
