University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Hilo baseball players James Yamasaki, Mason Cook and Arthur Soto earned College Sports Communicators (CSC<\/abbr>) Academic All-District Team honors.<\/p>\n

The CSC<\/abbr> Academic All-America\/District program recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom, requiring a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher (sophomore standing and above) and participation in at least 90% of games played during the season (or 66% as a starter). For baseball, pitchers are eligible with a minimum 17 appearances or 25 total innings pitched.<\/p>\n
