University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa women\u2019s volleyball<\/a> alumnae and three-time U.S. Olympic team teammates Robyn Ah Mow and Heather Bown were officially inducted into USA<\/abbr> Volleyball\u2019s Hall of Fame at its annual banquet on May 22, in Columbus, Ohio. The pair were announced as the 2024 USA<\/abbr> Volleyball All-Time Great Female Indoor Athlete award winners<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n

To receive the All-Time Great Player Award, an athlete must have completed a minimum of five years as a member of a U.S. national team and on a minimum of five top-level international teams.<\/p>\n

Robyn Ah Mow<\/h2>\n

Robyn Ah Mow<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Ah Mow, the current Rainbow Wahine head coach, is a three-time Olympic setter (2000, \u201904 and \u201908) who made her debut with the Women\u2019s National Team in 1999. Ah Mow played at UH<\/abbr>, 1993–96, earning AVCA<\/abbr> All-America First Team honors in 1995 and \u201996, and was a three-time all-conference honoree. As coach, she has led the \u2018Bows to four-straight Big West titles and six-straight NCAA<\/abbr> appearances with an overall career record of 132-45.<\/p>\n

Heather Bown<\/h2>\n

Bown is a three-time Olympic middle blocker (2000, \u201904 and \u201908) who first played for the U.S. Women\u2019s National Team in 1999. She earned AVCA<\/abbr> All-America First Team honors in both of her years as a Rainbow Wahine, and was twice voted WAC<\/abbr> Player of the Year (1998, \u201999). She is still ranked No<\/abbr>. 1 in UH<\/abbr> history with 1.95 blocks per set, No<\/abbr>. 4 in hitting percentage and No<\/abbr>. 5 with 4.42 kills\/set.<\/p>\n
