The event also features physics demonstrations and hands-on activities.<\/p>\n<p>Physics and astronomy faculty and students will describe fascinating aspects of their research, such as the Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna project, the Large Hadron Collider and efforts to develop small neutrino detectors.<\/p>\n<p>A welcome and overview will take place in the <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Institute of Geophysics auditorium at 8:30 a.m., with sites open 9&#8211;11 a.m. for group visits and 11 a.m.&#8211;noon for informal visits.<\/p>\n<p>The event is open to the public.
