Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Community College\u2019s<\/a> annual celebration, Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Community College Day welcomed more than 300 attendees on April 20. The event spurred engagement with both local businesses and Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> CC<\/abbr> resources, showcasing the institution\u2019s diversity and talents.<\/p>\n

A career fair featured more than 40 local businesses that provided attendees and students a chance to explore potential careers and establish industry connections.<\/p>\n

“One of the most gratifying aspects of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Community College Day is seeing the excitement and engagement of our students and community members,” said Interim Chancellor Susan Kazama. “The Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> CC<\/abbr> Day and career fair was an incredible opportunity for students to explore diverse career paths and connect with faculty, who are also industry professionals.”<\/p>\n

The event also highlighted some of the college\u2019s academic programs. Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> CC<\/abbr>\u2019s culinary program<\/a> cooked and sold meals. The auto body repair and painting program<\/a> organized a car show.<\/p>\n
