(Photo credit: <abbr>NBC<\/abbr>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to <abbr>NBC<\/abbr> Insider, &ldquo;<span aria-label=\"Kawaa\">Kawa&#699;a<\/span> honed the song during rehearsals with Jane, Coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbc.com\/nbc-insider\/people\/chance-the-rapper\">Chance the Rapper<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbc.com\/nbc-insider\/the-voice-season-25-mega-mentor-keith-urban\">Season 25 Mega Mentor Keith Urban<\/a>. &lsquo;To hear a John song not feel like John is such a huge feat,&rsquo; Chance said.&rdquo;  He also advised <span aria-label=\"Kawaa\">Kawa&#699;a<\/span> and Jane to sing like one of the other coaches would be &ldquo;stupid to not steal me.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>After <span aria-label=\"Kawaa\">Kawa&#699;a<\/span>\u2019s sweet soulful rendition of &ldquo;All of Me,&rdquo; Legend thanked him for singing his song.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I\u2019m known for being a bit tough on people covering my songs, but I was just really into your version, it was beautiful,&rdquo; Legend said. &ldquo;The whole demeanor with which you carry yourself, with gratitude in your spirit, we feel that and it comes through in your voice.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"blocklink\">Related: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2024\/03\/05\/uh-maui-college-kawaa-on-the-voice\/\"><abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> Maui College grad gets two-chair turn on <em>The Voice<\/em><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>After agonizing a while, Chance chose Jane over <span aria-label=\"Kawaa\">Kawa&#699;a<\/span>.
