Highlights of the celebration include a captivating Hawaiian quilt exhibition, live music and workshops on lei making, hula and cultural protocols.<\/p>\n<p>Documentary films will be screened showcasing works from Hawaiian filmmakers. Free live broadcast viewings are scheduled at <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> Hilo\u2019s University Classroom Building and the Campus Center. Attendees can also enjoy cultural activities and Hawaiian food.<\/p>\n<p>The majority of events will be held at <a href=\"https:\/\/imiloahawaii.org\/merrie-monarch\"><span aria-label=\"Imiloa\">&#699;Imiloa<\/span> Astronomy Center<\/a>, an educational outreach center located on campus.
