University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Mānoa women’s tennis<\/a> player Nelly Knezkova earned her first The Big West Women’s Tennis Player of the Week after a pair of winning sweeps last week.<\/p>\n

Knezkova won both her singles matches while splitting her doubles matches with partner Sheena Masuda. In singles, playing on the No.<\/abbr> 2 court, Knezkova swept Illinois State’s Lana Caculovic, 6-3, 6-3. She then made her debut playing at No.<\/abbr> 1, notching a win over Pacific’s Klara Kosan, 6-3, 6-2.<\/p>\n

In doubles, Knezkova and Masuda won 6-3 to secure Hawaii’s lone doubles win.<\/p>\n
