Richardson School of Law<\/a> has been recognized for its online program, practical training and environmental law specialization.<\/p>\n<p>In <em>preLaw<\/em> magazine\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/bluetoad.com\/publication\/frame.php?i=816097&#038;p=&#038;pn=&#038;ver=html5\">spring 2024<\/a> issue, the <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> law school earned an A rating for its environmental law program and a B+ for its practical training, as well as high marks for its small class sizes for first-year students.<\/p>\n<p>The <abbr>UH<\/abbr> law school\u2019s online program, which launched in fall 2023, was also highlighted as one of the top in the nation.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are honored and excited that our programs consistently receive national recognition and attention,&rdquo; said <abbr>UH<\/abbr> law school Dean Camille Nelson. &ldquo;This is a testament to the dedication, expertise and excellence of our faculty, staff, students and law school community as a whole. We are committed to continuing to offer this high level of education for many more years to come.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>These new rankings add to the <abbr>UH<\/abbr> law school\u2019s consistent top marks in recent years:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><abbr title=\"number\">No.<\/abbr> 9 for Asian students, <em>preLaw<\/em> magazine 2024<\/li>\n<li><abbr>No.<\/abbr> 26 for Hispanic students, <em>preLaw<\/em> magazine 2024<\/li>\n<li><abbr>No.<\/abbr> 2 for most diverse faculty, <em>Princeton Review<\/em> 2023<\/li>\n<li><abbr>No.<\/abbr> 4 for most chosen by older students, <em>Princeton Review<\/em> 2023<\/li>\n<li>A rating as one of the top law schools for environmental law, <em>preLaw<\/em> magazine 2023<\/li>\n<li><abbr>No.<\/abbr> 8 for best schools for state and local clerkships, <em>Princeton Review<\/em> 2023<\/li>\n<li><abbr>No.<\/abbr> 24 for part-time law programs, <em>U.S. News and World Report<\/em> 2023<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The William S.
