Open to all <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> students, faculty and staff, the webinar topics include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Know More, Do More: Recognizing and Responding to Stalking&#8212;February 27, 2 p.m<\/li>\n<li>M&#257;h&#363; and Decolonizing the Idea of Gender&#8212;March 6, 10 a.m<\/li>\n<li>Managing Microaggressions&#8212;March 27, 10 a.m<\/li>\n<li>Who Run the World? Beyonc\u00e9, Taylor Swift, and Female Economic Power&#8212;May 1, 3 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, the <abbr>UH<\/abbr> Commission on the Status of Women will host a week-long series of webinars starting on April 4, W&#257;hine Mana: Empowering the Women of <abbr>UH<\/abbr>. The topics of female empowerment include: obstacles faced, lessons learned and successes won.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We each come to <abbr>UH<\/abbr> with our own experiences, perspectives and identities, and we are committed to fostering a community where those differences are respected and celebrated as we learn and grow together,&rdquo; said <abbr>UH<\/abbr> President David Lassner in a February 20 email to the 10-campus system on the webinar series. &ldquo;Consistent with this commitment, the spring webinar series will share critical skills to help attendees identify inequity and create inclusive spaces.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about the series, register for webinars and for information on in-person events on <abbr>UH<\/abbr> campuses, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/uhcc.hawaii.edu\/equity-explored\/\">Equity Explore webinar series website<\/a>.
