Olympic team teammates, Robyn Ah Mow and Heather Bown have been voted as the 2024 <abbr>USA<\/abbr> Volleyball All-Time Great Female Indoor Athlete award winners. Ah Mow, currently head coach of the <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> women\u2019s volleyball team, and Bown will be inducted into the <abbr>USA<\/abbr> Volleyball&#8217;s 2024 Hall of Fame annual banquet ceremony on May 22, in Columbus, Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>To receive the All-Time Great Player Award, an athlete must have completed a minimum of five years as a member of a <abbr>U.S<\/abbr>. national team and must have competed on a minimum of five top-level international teams.<\/p>\n<h2>Robyn Ah Mow<\/h2>\n<p>Ah Mow is a three-time Olympic setter (2000, &#8217;04 and &#8217;08) who made her debut with the Women&#8217;s National Team in 1999. During her 10 years with the team, she won numerous medals including gold at the 2001 Grand Prix and at the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (<abbr>NORCECA<\/abbr>) championships in 2001, &#8217;03 and &#8217;05.<\/p>\n<p>Ah Mow played at <abbr>UH<\/abbr> from 1993&#8211;96. She earned <abbr title=\"American Volleyball Coaches Association\">AVCA<\/abbr> All-America First Team honors in 1995 and &#8217;96 and was a three-time all-conference honoree (1994, &#8217;95 in the Big West and 1996 in Western Athletic Conference). In the <abbr>UH<\/abbr> record books, Ah Mow is still ranked No. 3 with 4,313 career assists and is ranked No. 4 with 11.23 assists\/set. She was a member of 1996 <abbr title=\"National Collegiate Athletic Association\">NCAA<\/abbr> finalist team and in 2006 was inducted into the <abbr>UH<\/abbr> Sports Circle of Honor.  As coach, she has led the &#8216;Bows to four-straight Big West titles and six-straight <abbr>NCAA<\/abbr> appearances with an overall career record of 132-45.<\/p>\n<h2>Heather Bown<\/h2>\n<p>Bown is a three-time Olympic middle blocker (2000, &#8217;04 and &#8217;08) who first played for the <abbr>U.S<\/abbr>. Women&#8217;s National Team in 1999. She helped the team win gold at the Grand Prix in 2001, &#8217;10, &#8217;11 and &#8217;12 and at the <abbr>NORCECA<\/abbr> championships in 2001, &#8217;03 and &#8217;05 and &#8217;11. She also took silver at the 2002 World Championship.<\/p>\n<p>Bown earned <abbr>AVCA<\/abbr> All-America First Team honors in both of her years as a Rainbow Wahine (1998, &#8217;99). She was also twice  voted <abbr>WAC<\/abbr> Player of the Year (1998, &#8217;99). She is still ranked at No. 1 in <abbr>UH<\/abbr> history with 1.95 blocks per set, No. 4 in hitting percentage, and No. 5 with 4.42 kills\/set. Although she played only two seasons at <abbr>UH<\/abbr>, she is still in the Top 10 in career block solos, career block assists, and career total blocks. In 1999, Bown averaged a <abbr>UH<\/abbr> single-season record 2.25 blocks-per-set which led the entire <abbr>NCAA<\/abbr> that year.
